Our Story:

My name is Stacy Greenleaf. I am 36 years old and a mom of 6 children. 3 through birth and 3 through foster care adoption. I did foster care from May 2007 till Novemeber 2011 and have provided care for 8 children in that time. I have been married to my husband Terry for 16 years. We are a one income household and I am always looking for ways to save money. People refer to me as a stay at home mom, though I'm always going somewhere! Three of our children have diagnosed disabilities and are receiving several services. In home, at school and by many doctors, specialist, counselors and Phyciatrist's. My life is never dull, and though I'm always looking to improve it I would'nt change a thing! Welcome to my crazy, happy life!

Topics of discussion include but are not limited to:

Raising a large family in this economy, tips for raising children with ADHD, SPD, PDD, Autism, XYY Syndrome, Tourettes, OCD, Anxiety ect. Adoption, Foster Care, frugal, thrifty living, living healthy on less and recipes! Not only do I live these things everyday and want to share what I have learned with you, I am always looking for information on these subjects as well! Welcome and I hope you enjoy my Blog. Most people find my life hysterical, as do I most days!

This blog is all about my crazy happy life!!! I am Stacy, a 36 year old Stay-at-Home-mom to 6 children. My Dear husband is Terry, he is 45 and is an equipment operator. We were Foster Parents and have adopted our last 3 children Our oldest son Caleb is 14, Cody is 11, Carson is 6, Connor is 4, and Carly is 3 and Cathryn is 18 months. Can you see were the "crazy" comes in!!!

I wanted to start this blog to openly discuss things such as Foster care, adoption, autism, PDD, ADHD, OCD, Touretts, frugality, recipes, money saving, raising a large family, and anything that will help us become a better family!

I cant blog too much tonight because its late, but a little run down, I want to blog hopefully daily about all the "stuff" in our lives. Crazy, happy, sad, exhilarating, trying, exciting, frustrating, and anything else descriptive that comes up!!!

  2. I'm not exactally sure where to put all our updates. So I guess I'll try it this way! Today is Wednessday and we have decided to go camping this weekend! Yup, now Im trying to get all 7 of us and the camper ready!
Connor got his orthodics and shoes today, we were in the car 11.5 seconds when he had them off! He did however walk much better the minute or so he had them on!
Both babies have well child checks tomorrow. Mom is coming with me to "help"! Everytime I plan them on the same day, I say to myself "I shouldnt do that!" I never listen to myself but neither does anyone else!
Tomorrow night is Codys spring concert and at 2, Calebs BHP (Behavioral Health Proffessional comes) so it should be busy! Bring it on!
Friday is Carsons end of the year pre-school picnic and then off to camping where things should slow down a bit, they just become a differant kind of busy! Like the kind you chase babies around the camper!!!
Carly has developed a new scream that I think has permantally damaged the part of brain that makes makes me remember why I shoulnt do certain things! lol! she broke her personal record for temper tantums today! Classic girl TT (as I will refer to them from now on just to make things easier!) the throwing on the ground, feet kicking, screaming the whole bit! and trully I love every minute of it! really I do!
