Our Story:

My name is Stacy Greenleaf. I am 36 years old and a mom of 6 children. 3 through birth and 3 through foster care adoption. I did foster care from May 2007 till Novemeber 2011 and have provided care for 8 children in that time. I have been married to my husband Terry for 16 years. We are a one income household and I am always looking for ways to save money. People refer to me as a stay at home mom, though I'm always going somewhere! Three of our children have diagnosed disabilities and are receiving several services. In home, at school and by many doctors, specialist, counselors and Phyciatrist's. My life is never dull, and though I'm always looking to improve it I would'nt change a thing! Welcome to my crazy, happy life!

Well today is May 17th. So hard to believe we are 1/2 through May! Just a few weeks till school vacation, most moms are like "ugh" but not me!!! This year has been even crazier than normal, how you ask...well for starters Caleb was out for the whole 3rd quarter. He is now on a 1/2 day modified schedule, so hes home at 11:30. Not to mention all the work behind homeschooling that quarter and the work to get him back into school. Hes doing great! but were all ready for a break! WE ARE NOT MORNING PEOPLE! especially mom! so not having to get up and right at it will seem nice! ask me if I still believe that in August!

I am new to blogging so I hope to be able to find a place to give individual autobiography's of each of our children, so it will be a bit easier to know of each of children individual personalities and disabilities.

A quick funny for today: You can imagine with 5 kids that my housework isn't always what I would like it to be!!! Well yesterday I took the time to "really" clean the bathroom. Well a little later I hear Carson yelling from the bathroom: "mom somethings wrong with the bathroom"...so I go over, thinking the toilets clogged (a daily occurrence) or tub is overflowing...nope, this is what Carson says "look mom all our stuff is missing!" motioning to the counter, that was cleaned off and the stuff actually put were it belongs!!! hahaha! lol! He was all confused! LOL!
